Create your AubeActu account

The account is free and will stay free. It lets you follow your towns, keep the articles you set aside in step across your devices, comment and send us news. It signs you up for nothing: the letter and the alerts are two options, yours to tick or not.

We use it to greet you in the e-mails we send you.

Ten characters minimum, letters and numbers.

Optional. Your account works without them: ticking these boxes or not changes nothing to your sign-up. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

If you get the letter: how often?

If you tick one of these boxes, a confirmation email will be sent to you: nothing goes out before your click.

Your age

We do not ask for your date of birth: only this answer is kept. Under 15, French law requires the parent to consent together with the child (law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, art. 45); we cannot collect that agreement here, so we do not open accounts under 15. Reading AubeActu requires none. An account opened on an inaccurate answer is closed.

  • Reader accounts — Allowing readers to comment, follow a municipality and receive the alerts they choose. Legal basis : Performance of a contract. Recipients : AubeActu newsroom; Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile anti-bot check). Transfer outside the European Union : United States: Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile anti-bot check), certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, adequacy decision (EU) 2023/1795 of 10 July 2023; failing that, standard contractual clauses. Retention : Civil identity kept 5 years after account closure (art. 6, V, A of the LCEN, decree no. 2021-1362); other sign-up data 1 year.
  • Newsletter — Sending the daily or weekly selection to people who asked for it. Legal basis : Consent. Recipients : AubeActu newsroom; Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile anti-bot check). Transfer outside the European Union : United States: Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile anti-bot check), certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, adequacy decision (EU) 2023/1795 of 10 July 2023; failing that, standard contractual clauses. Retention : Until unsubscription, then 3 years on a suppression list to avoid re-subscribing by mistake. Unconfirmed addresses purged after 7 days.

Your first name, email address, password, age answer and acceptance of the terms are needed to create the account; everything else is optional. No data is sold.

You can access your data, correct it, export it, erase it, object to a processing or withdraw your consent at any time, from your account or by writing to donnees@aubeactu.fr. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr). Full details in the privacy policy.
